As Time Stands Still...

It's always amazing to me how small humans are when they begin their life journey. Everything about them is delicate and miniature. Little breaths, whispering sighs, tiny grunts. It's as if time is standing still.

In some ways, just being in the presence of a mother and her baby make the world seem right.
Peaceful.
Purposeful.

These fleeting moments are beautiful and worth relishing, and I feel so honored that my clients share them with me. For that reason, among many, I am falling more and more in love with my work every day. Thank you Jessie and Amanda for introducing me to Jackson! Congratulations on your precious son!

Shabby Chic

Texture, grime, trash, dark dark allies. These are my favorite backdrops for casual sessions, and as always this shoot turned out to be the perfect mix of dark and dingy with fresh and flirty. Cayla did an awesome job setting the mood and feeling of the shoot. Isn't she cute? I hope you enjoy this mini bar of fabulous gallery samples!

At Long Last!

Hello friends! I am so excited to announce that I am now an official member of Professional Photographer's of America! Now anyone, anywhere in the United States can access my photography information. How great is that?

Ten Fingers, Ten Toes

Tiny fingernails, tiny eyelashes, tiny breaths. I love this job and I love these beautiful moments! I had the joy of photographing baby Jack this past weekend with his proud parents Amy and Kameron. And man, are they proud! (Wouldn't you be?) We were so lucky to keep him peacefully asleep and were able to catch some great shots. Here's a tiny glimpse into this beautiful newborn session. Enjoy!

Free Spirited....

Last Saturday was a perfect day for portraits. Awesome weather, awesome light, awesome senior! Miss Callie was such a joy! Barefoot, fun dresses and tons of laughs made this one of my favorite shoots yet. The punches of color only hint at this girl's bright and playful personality, which comes through beautifully in these shots. She's got things going for her, and I wish her all the best at this exciting time in her life. Congrats Callie!
